A story is told by Andy Johns of Mick and Jimmy Miller and him standing at the bottom of the stairs, going, "Who's gonna wake him up? I've had enough of this." "I'm not fucking going up there. All I can say is, it got worse in the later '70s on tour, when Marlon became the only one permitted to wake me up. But it worked--somehow.
